Purpose & Mission

The FTY Rave Volunteer Program offers individuals the opportunity to contribute to the success of Ghana's biggest rave festival. Volunteers assist across multiple departments including hospitality, logistics, artist liaison, stage management, ticketing, security support, media coordination, and vendor relations.

Eligibility Requirements

  • ✓Must be 18 years or older by the event date
  • ✓Valid national ID or student ID required
  • ✓Available for pre-event orientation and assigned shifts
  • ✓Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
  • ✓Medically and physically fit to perform assigned duties

Application & Selection Process

  • ⚡All volunteers must apply through the official volunteer form by Friday, 11th July 2026
  • ⚡Completing an application does not guarantee selection
  • ⚡Selected volunteers will receive a confirmation email and Volunteer Accreditation Pass
  • ⚡Positions assigned based on availability, experience, and event needs

Training & Orientation

  • ⚡Attendance at mandatory orientation and briefing sessions is required
  • ⚡Volunteers will receive training specific to their roles, venue layout, and emergency procedures
  • ⚡Missing the briefing may result in cancellation of your placement

Code of Conduct

All volunteers must uphold the following standards:

⚡Represent FTY Rave with professionalism and positive energy
⚡Arrive on time for all shifts and check in with team leads
⚡Refrain from alcohol or substance use while on duty
⚡Respect all artists, guests, staff, vendors, and attendees
⚡Follow instructions from supervisors and security personnel
⚡Maintain confidentiality about artists, sponsors, and production

⚠️ Failure to comply may result in immediate dismissal from the volunteer program

Volunteer Commitment

  • ⚡Volunteers expected to commit to all assigned shifts (typically 4–8 hours)
  • ⚡Late arrivals or no-shows without notice may affect future participation
  • ⚡Break times will be provided and must be taken in designated areas
  • ⚡Check in with team leads upon arrival and departure

Compensation & Benefits

Volunteering is an unpaid role. However, participants will receive valuable benefits:

✓Official FTY Rave Volunteer Accreditation Pass & exclusive crew T-shirt
✓Meals and water during all scheduled shifts
✓Certificate of Participation from FTY organizing committee
✓Access to certain event areas after shifts (subject to approval)
✓Behind-the-scenes experience at Ghana's biggest rave festival

* No cash allowance or travel reimbursement provided unless stated otherwise

Safety & Liability

  • ⚠️Volunteers must comply with all health, safety, and emergency procedures
  • ⚠️The organizers are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items
  • ⚠️Volunteers participate at their own risk and release the organizers from liability for any injury or incident occurring during service
  • ⚠️24/7 Medical team available on-site for emergencies

Confidentiality Agreement

Volunteers may have access to private or sensitive information regarding artists, sponsors, or production details.

  • ⚡Such information must not be shared or published online or offline
  • ⚡No unauthorized photos or videos of restricted areas, artists, or VIP sections
  • ⚡Breach of confidentiality may lead to removal and possible legal action

Photography & Media Consent

By volunteering, you consent to be photographed or filmed during the event.

  • ⚡FTY Rave reserves the right to use these images or recordings for promotional, documentation, or publicity purposes
  • ⚡Photos may appear on official social media, website, or marketing materials
  • ⚡No compensation will be provided for use of your image

Termination of Service

The organizers reserve the right to:

  • ⚡Dismiss any volunteer for misconduct, unreliability, or rule violation
  • ⚡Modify or cancel volunteer roles due to operational needs
  • ⚡Remove volunteers who fail to meet expectations or pose safety risks

Volunteer Agreement

By submitting your application and accepting placement as a volunteer, you confirm that:

  • ✓You have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions
  • ✓You are medically and physically fit to perform assigned duties
  • ✓You will act in the best interest of FTY Rave and its stakeholders
  • ✓You understand this is an unpaid volunteer position
