FREE THE YOUTH FESTIVAL 2026

Your Safety Comes First

At Free The Youth, your safety comes first. The Rave is built to be a fun, energetic, and secure space for everyone. We work hand-in-hand with professional security agencies, Ghana Police Service, and medical teams to ensure the wellbeing of all guests, staff, artists, and vendors throughout the event.

Venue: GHUD Park, Accra Mall – Accra, Ghana

General Security Overview

  • The event is managed by a licensed security company in collaboration with venue security and local law enforcement.
  • Security personnel will be stationed at all entry/exit points, crowd areas, VIP zones, and backstage sections.
  • Surveillance systems (CCTV and security drones) will operate throughout the venue for crowd monitoring and incident prevention.
  • Bag checks, body screening, and ticket verifications will be mandatory at all entrances.

Entry & Screening

To maintain a safe environment, all attendees will undergo a security check before entering the venue.

  • No entry without a valid ticket, accreditation, or wristband.
  • All bags and personal items will be inspected.
  • Attendees must comply with security instructions at all times.

🚫 PROHIBITED ITEMS INCLUDE:

  • Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives)
  • Drugs, narcotics, or illegal substances
  • Glass bottles, cans, or sharp objects
  • Fireworks, smoke bombs, or flares
  • Professional cameras (without media accreditation)
  • Laser pointers or drones
  • Outside food and beverages (unless approved for medical reasons)

Inside the Venue

  • Security and crowd marshals will patrol continuously to ensure order.
  • Any disorderly, violent, or unsafe behavior will result in immediate removal without refund.
  • Unauthorized access to restricted zones (backstage, VIP, tech areas) is strictly prohibited.
  • Lost items can be reported at the Information Desk near the main gate.

Emergency Response

  • The event will have on-site medical and first aid stations, staffed by certified paramedics.
  • Emergency exits and evacuation routes will be clearly marked.
  • In case of an emergency, follow security or staff instructions immediately — do not run or crowd exits.
  • Police and fire services will be on standby throughout the event duration.

Artist, Crew & Vendor Safety

  • All artists, crew members, and vendors must wear their official accreditation badges at all times.
  • Backstage and production zones will be managed by a dedicated security detail to prevent unauthorized entry.

Lost & Found

  • A Lost & Found Desk will be located near the main help station.
  • Found items will be logged and can be retrieved after ID verification.
  • Items left unclaimed after 7 days will be turned over to the venue's security office.

Reporting Incidents

If you see something suspicious or need immediate help:

  • Approach the nearest security officer or staff member, or
  • Contact the on-site Emergency Hotline displayed on event signage.

Respect & Conduct

Free The Youth Rave promotes an environment of respect, unity, and peace. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or violence — verbal or physical — will not be tolerated and will lead to removal from the venue and possible legal action.
